Audits, Reviews and Compilations
Lenders, creditors and investors often require some form of financial statements to ascertain the financial position of a company. We provide financial reporting on all three levels of assurance:
- Audit - an intensive examination, with the highest level of assurance. Includes physical inspections i.e. taking inventory; communication with 3rd parties such as your customers, banks and attorneys; tests of internal accounting controls.
- Review - some analytical procedures conducted with limited assurance; more involved than a compilation but less extensive than an audit. Basically consists of analytical procedures applied to the financial statements and inquiries made to management.
- Compilation - based upon client information provided and used primarily for internal use. We express no opinion or assurance on the statements. Banks often require compiled financial statements from an outside CPA as part of their lending practices.
